Thank you for joining our event – We are in Brussels to be seen, heard and supported.

We would like to thank everyone for joining us at our event in Brussels on the 24th of May on the occasion of Finnish Forest Industries Federation Brussels office opening evening. It truly was a wonderful evening filled with inspiration, networking, great food and beautiful people and most of all – our forest industry with innovative wood-based products.

During the evening we heard insightful speeches from the Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Finland Ville Skinnari, Member of the European Parliament Miapetra Kumpula-Natri President and the President and CEO of Metsä Group Ilkka Hämälä.

The event gathered lots of guests under one roof.

The main message was clear: Forest industry is here in Brussels to bring extremely valuable solutions for a fossile-free future from our well-managed forests. Europe is our home market and we are here to help.

A special thank you goes out to our member companies, Metsä Group, UPM and Stora Enso, for their support in making this event a success. The showcases of the innovative solutions from wood-based products surely left everyone impressed with the immense possibilities within the forest industry.

We hope you all had a wonderful evening with lots of encounters with new and old friends! The importance of collaboration and networking can’t be highlighted enough.

For us, the event was an important milestone. The Finnish Forest Industries office in Brussels will be finally opened during this autumn in the heart of the EU-district.

Our doors will be always open!
