The Finnish Forest Industry’s Updated Climate Roadmap Outlines Research-Based Actions Across the Entire Value Chain

The Finnish forest industry remains in the driver’s seat in slowing climate change. The updated Climate Roadmap presents research-based measures for the entire value chain, including accelerating emission reductions in logistics.

The industry continues to set the pace in climate work—both domestically and internationally. Today, 92 % of energy production at industry mills is renewable, and scenarios indicate that fossil emissions can be reduced to zero by 2035.
